Julia's debut solo album from 2006 - there isn't a clunker of a track on this disc; every song is beautiful and Julia's voice. GAH. She acts the lyrics as much as sings them - just listen to I'm Not Waiting or Perfect. And her high note in Lennon's Beautiful Boy is just lovely. Besides, for practical purposes, I am never ever going to stop talking about this woman. Which means that you might as well download it so you know who I'm flailing about. ;)

Both Emily and Alice have fabulous voices, and their duets are to die for. It's because of this album - alongside their two duet albums and various solo albums - that I fell into serious flail for them. I'm SO happy I'll get to see them live in June!!

I've already flailed about it here. You can find the track listing and whatnot here. Basically, a sunshiny happy, cheerfully cheesy and yet completely wonderful set of songs. Trust me - these songs get stuck in your head something fierce. Watch the movie if you can't catch this on Broadway. It's trippy and weird and cultish, but totally fun and popcorn-fluffy too. Plus, GENE KELLY, ZOMG. Yes. Hot even in his old age.
