Okay, I had to do that first. I mean. I'm kinda speechless. Well, no, I could ramble until tomorrow really.

Uhm, I've got so much love for your Penny. You had an awesome bunny here and you fed it, indeed!

On island stuff apart from the last part: totally nailed. I loved how she decided she wasn't going to search for him even there, I mean, she's kinda right. Sayid's bit was very IC and well, if there's Sayid I squee, period. All the comments she got where great (surely Locke can find needles in haystacks, surely he can) and then the Dan interaction was absolutely spot on. Apart from Dan sounding exactly like he should and making absolutely no sense to her, that scene with him searching for the picture was awesome. Now Penny's going to have to wonder why he needs it...

“No. No. No.” Daniel scrambles after her and grabs her arm. “It’s not right in there. It’s barely right here.”

“I have to.”

To her amazement this seems to be enough of an argument for Daniel. Oh Daniel, it doesn't take much to convince you. Much love at Penny

Well, my bunny had litter and I just kept the runt but then he grew to be a giant. This was supposed to be a one-shot scene of them post-rescue and I didn’t even get there. There was far too much history to work through before I could ever contemplate their life after and even then I left so much out - Mr. Widmore, the whole army/prison escapade, Penny’s search etc. So this unasked for explanation is my introduction to say thank you because I never feel I do these two any justice but at least I feel I made you happy! I did hear the squealing but I thought you had bumped into Bon Jovi or something!

Secondly, thanks for the lovely comment on a pairing I know does not interest you all that much. I so happy to know you thought the pacing of this story worked, how their relationship ran in circles, meanwhile everything was building to a climax.

How many different version of their WHOLE love story do you plan to write?

I've been caught in a Penny net lately, haven't I? She's been the centre of three of my last four stories. I still feel there is more aspects of their past and future to investigate but I need to retire these two for a while before I start repeating myself.

I am joining the string of speechless readers. This was so amazing, just the sort of thing that I picture happening. I think you have their relationship spot on, even though we really have not seen much of it on the show. It just has to be something like this. I also love how you had the Six come back with Penny, and how Daniel has kind of glomped onto Des, his constant. This was absolutely fantastic, like always.
