Okay, I had to do that first. I mean. I'm kinda speechless. Well, no, I could ramble until tomorrow really.

Uhm, I've got so much love for your Penny. You had an awesome bunny here and you fed it, indeed!

On island stuff apart from the last part: totally nailed. I loved how she decided she wasn't going to search for him even there, I mean, she's kinda right. Sayid's bit was very IC and well, if there's Sayid I squee, period. All the comments she got where great (surely Locke can find needles in haystacks, surely he can) and then the Dan interaction was absolutely spot on. Apart from Dan sounding exactly like he should and making absolutely no sense to her, that scene with him searching for the picture was awesome. Now Penny's going to have to wonder why he needs it...

“No. No. No.” Daniel scrambles after her and grabs her arm. “It’s not right in there. It’s barely right here.”

“I have to.”

To her amazement this seems to be enough of an argument for Daniel.

Oh Daniel, it doesn't take much to convince you. Much love at Penny in Desmond's tent! I loved the description of what was inside.

Desmond hasn’t only been playing Robinson Crusoe for four years. He’s also been tossed into a strange mix of Lord of the Flies and The Island of Dr. Moreau. Will he ever be fit to live anywhere else but this mad place?

Oh Desmond. Sorry. I shall return on commenting.

Before-the-island: oh God. I don't know where I should start from. All the scenes you had there were just so good. The first one had that funny edge which never hurts (Penny's friend has fine taste) and I so could see it. The part where he asked her to move in just completely had me on the verge of tearing up, it almost felt like I was there. I'd quote it all but..

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to be so dramatic. It’s just…I want to be able to give you things too.”

“You do, you give me everything.” And it’s true, no one has ever looked at her the way he does or touched her with such care. She has never felt adored before, worthy or not, that’s how he makes her feel most of the time.

I won't ramble about that because I'd need two comments, but those two lines totally killed me in the good way.

The scene after the stadium felt absolutely in place (and Penny wouldn't surely like LA) and uhm, yes, you killed me again. Them talking with the door between them and Desmond's speech... *dies* I realize I'm not making sense but it was just so good.

The last part. Oh, erm, right, that was where you heard my squealing I guess? This is my canon for the D/P reunion until it happens. And probably after, if I don't like it when it does.

Their whole body language was nothing short of great, I loved how she went backwards first and how he halted just a few inches from her. I realize I'm quoting like woah but..

Tomorrow in the daylight she’ll notice what’s changed: the new lines on his face, the longer hair, the lost weight and the twitch in his left hand, but right now all that matters is the familiarity. That’s what she finds in his eyes and playing, just barely, on his lips is a hint of a smile that speaks of curiosity, delight and apprehension.

OMG. Oh yes. The image is enough to send me into the shipper heaven. And then they held each other and he picked her up and I have so much love for this story that I could marry it, if fics could be married. Okay, I've probably left you the scariest comment ever but really, it was just mindblowing. Oh, and I love the title, by the way.

Well, my bunny had litter and I just kept the runt but then he grew to be a giant. This was supposed to be a one-shot scene of them post-rescue and I didn’t even get there. There was far too much history to work through before I could ever contemplate their life after and even then I left so much out - Mr. Widmore, the whole army/prison escapade, Penny’s search etc. So this unasked for explanation is my introduction to say thank you because I never feel I do these two any justice but at least I feel I made you happy! I did hear the squealing but I thought you had bumped into Bon Jovi or something!

surely Locke can find needles in haystacks

Surely, however in this case, I don’t even think he bothered looking. He just used Desmond as an excuse and took off to see Jacob and possibly not come out.

If was fun to include Dan in this. I imagine he feels he would need Desmond to stick by him in case of side effects when he leaves the island. As for the inside of the tent, I imagined the blue shirt was hanging on the clothes line but it didn’t seem significant for Penny to comment on it until she saw him wear it.

you killed me again.

Death by Desmond - what a way to go. Desmond kills me too. Just when I’m on Penny’s side with how infuriating he is, he opens his mouth and says something that makes me forgive him completely. Yet he has no idea that he does this and that makes him all the more appealing.

I’m so happy the last scene worked for you. That was very hard to write. You know how I am with describing actions. Plus it’s the third time I had written them meeting and needed to be careful I didn’t replicate mine or anyone else’s version. I hope I accomplished that.

Thanks for the beyond awesome comment. Your enthusiasm made me squeal. Did you hear me? ♥♥♥♥♥

Well, the day you know I'm in New Jersey and you hear squealing I have probably bumped into someone, but if I'm not, you know the reason ;)

Someone really needs to write Locke/Jacob crackfic. *nods eagerly*

Of course the blue shirt needs to be on her owner for us to appreciate it properly.

Oh, Desmond. I guess we're two on that! *sighs*

You definitely did accomplish it and I definitely did hear you! ♥
