I loved the Inspector Spacetime joke when it first appeared in the Community. It was a shot-out to fandom and affectionate parody both of something beloved by fandom and the fandom itself. Suvudu readers voted on the cast of hypothetical Star Wars episodes 7-9. It includes recasting all the main cast from classic trilogy. With the top vote and writ in being announce you can see if they match your mental image. I think it's so predictable I can almost see it done with those people.
