I'm back from a week in North Carolina helping take care of my Mom, who fell and broke her ankle in three places. She and my Dad were already scheduled to move into a cottage at a nursing home in early July, so we also had to do lots of packing up of things and trying to convince them not to take more than will fit into a smaller place. It's been a good summer so far. I've gotten to take several little trips as well as just enjoying being at home and having a less hectic schedule than during the school year. I've cooked more and enjoyed the fresh vegetables from our CSA.
