chose your own ending!
I do not actually watch Fringe, but, I did watch the first episode back when it aired and have watched a few of the end of the second season. See back when I saw the first episode it became clear to me that YET AGAIN we had a female main character and a male main character and they were going to do that thing that always happens: not get together even though they are attracted to each other. So I ignored it until it looked like they might go there a little in the second season. Then I watched enough episodes to go "wow, bad scifi really IS better than no scifi" and see them ALMOST get together.
But once he dissapeared in a huff over some little thing like no one telling him he was actually from an alternate universe, I was like BAH. no fun. Luckily it was only really one episode and then the finale which involves us going to the universe he's from to get him back! So, in the emotional moment when the female main character tracks down the male main character and tells him he HAS to come back because she fancies him, and they kiss. I stopped. EPISODE OVER FOR ME. I choose to believe they then save both worlds, pick a universe, settle down and LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
pity I didn't do that with Bones.
particularly since now I shall be foregoing the scifi just so I can pretend everything is FINE.and idk, maybe it is, maybe this is new territory, but I am not brave enough to find out, man.
