My last day in NYC.

( In which I do some random shopping, have a last lunch with friends, visit the Literary Museum, pack way too much into a suitcase and see Curtains before running for my bus. )

Monday in NYC
( In which I wander Central Park, do a little shopping, visit The Strand (18 Miles of books) and have a nice dinner out with friends. )

Sunday in NYC

( In which we spend the day at the BC/EFA Flea Market, I meet Bernadette Peters, and we go to The Color Purple )

Saturday in NYC

( In which rush for Spring Awakening is abandoned, random shopping is done, we go to both Pygmalion and Spring Awakening, have a random celebrity sighting, ride a ferris wheel and meet Claire Danes )

Friday in NYC

( In which I see dinosaurs, unicorns and the stars, and spend an evening with Mary Poppins. )

Thursday in NYC:

( In which I get to meet an LJ friend, visit The Cloisters, and win the RENT lotto. )

I'm now back from NYC, back at work, back to real life. Of course I'm getting sick now lol. Both Ava and Julie were sick while I was there and I refused to get sick 'til I got home, ergo I'm getting a cold. I bought some Airborne while I was in the US though so I took a bit last night as I felt myself getting sick, hopefully it helps me get well ( Read more... )

Short update because I had to squee a little :) We met Claire Danes yesterday :) She was quite nice. Totally not used to the stage door thing and they REALLY need to get her a barracade ASAP but she was pulling through it alright :) I got my DVD of Shop Girl signed :) She also really holds her own in a fantastic cast of Bway actors.
