I was only half being silly. A month of vomiting and whatnot is certainly unusual. I'm supposed the quacks aren't more concerned.

The one I am most familiar with is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giardia#Infection_and_symptoms, which *sigh* they can test for simply from fecal samples.

Well as charming and delightful as this conversation is on one's birthday I can happily confirm everyone's poo has been tested for every testable parasite and bacteria and everything is coming back clean. Ish. You know. Given the circumstances.

We've had their poo tested for anything unusual in it which is a negatory. Never occurred to me to test the water though. Wouldn't we all be sick as hell if it was the water? This bug seems to be afflicting Steel Men, Kay, me and Crispini have gotten off pretty easy in comparison.
