As of today, I have taken up running.
It's more like ten seconds of running and sixty seconds of walking right now, but I just did it for fifteen minutes and I feel great. My heart rate is up, there's sweat cooling on my skin, and I want to go do it again in the evening.
I've been doing core exercises for weeks - even getting up and doing them in the morning, which is completely unlike (previous) me. And I do cardio and things, even exercises at my desk, but lately it hasn't been feeling like enough.
Then, this morning, I woke up and my body said, 'Run!'
Enough with all this cardio crunching core stuff, just get out there and flat out run. My blood was buzzing.
So I did.
Any runners out there? Any tips?
