Currently making their way to me through various postal services:
- New keyboard. The skinny one I got from NewEgg is total rubbish, and I really love the one at my work. So I just ordered one of those.
- A TARDIS USB hub, because I needs me some more USB ports, and I require a TARDIS, and it's a TARDIS USB hub.
- Peacock feather earrings, which are taking an awful lot of time to get here, but I paid $5 for them and they're travelling from Japan, so I am willing to forgive this.
- Fennel tea, on
girlfmkitty's recommendation, for upsetting girly problems which occur once a month.
In the feline TMI department, Ghani had been peeing everywhere but her litter box and I was afraid she had a UTI. I called the mobile vet and made an appointment and the whole shebang. I also ordered this stuff called
Feliway, which contains a cat pheremone and is supposed to stop such nonsense, if all it is is her acting up.
Well, it works.
She hasn't sprayed anywhere in four days, except for the litter box, of course. And she is going in the litter box, and there are no other symptoms, and I called the vet again and she said it sounds like everything is fine. She said she would have recommended Feliway herself once the urinalysis came back negative.
I am happy my kittie isn't sick. She actually seems happier, too. Calmer.
I told Leanne* about it and she immediately ordered some for her place. I should get some sort of commission.
It is now time to spend the weekend watching BBC, working on scripts, cleaning the house, and sleeping. O glorious sleep. Last night Cash and I put on Boondock Saints and got in bed, and I barely made it to 'I'll have a Coke!' before I was out cold. I don't even remember him turning off the television.
*Leanne being my boss. But all the Project Managers are my bosses too, kind of. One of them is Ethan, Leanne's husband. There is also the quite easygoing Lydia, Lynzey, who wears incredibly cute clothes, and Jenna. Jenna has a dog named Stella. Stella hangs out in the office and is our mascot. On the Programmers side there is Paul, EJ and Ryan. Everybody in my office rocks hardcore, to varying degrees. And now you know the new cast of characters I will be mentioning here and there in my yammerings.
