running, day two

Thanks to everyone who gave me running tips!

I went out to the park again. Five minutes more today.

And now I am having meat for lunch. Cash makes these yummy burgers and we eat them without bread half the time. Nomnomnomprotein.

I've been running in my comfy old sneakers, which fit me perfectly because I've had them for years. But yeah, I figure I'll still have to get a good pair of running shoes. Chuck Taylors won't work for running by any chance, will they? I'd planned for my next sneakers to be green Chucks. ♥

But I suppose I can always buy two different pairs of sneakers. I'm not really a 'shoe' person so this only just occurred to me.

I didn't stretch right when I got into the house but instead took a shower. By the time I got out, my muscles were feeling tight, so I stretched. Good advice, not doing it immediately after.

I really need to work on my gait. Good thing I'm starting off slow.

Anyway.

Yesterday was the best day ever. Don't knock a weekend staying in; there was running and Doctor Who and sex and Chinese food and strawberry mochi.

(Not all at the same time, mind you.)
