No update today. It is the Cherub's birthday (she's 15!!!) and I have literally only logged on to post this.

I tidied the girls' bedroom today, and in the process unearthed a lot of forgotten things.

The Cherub (9 y.o.) just came downstairs with a beautiful fan Darcy bought for them in Barcelona, fanning herself in a very lady-like manner. But rather than pretend to be some sort of noblewoman, she says:

"Look! I'm a Kyoshi warrior!"

So damn proud.

It's the Cherub's 9th birthday today.

Yes, really.

She wanted/has been given a Minecraft account, blue shorts with red braces (suspenders), a Fionna hat (Adventure Time), a scooter and Pirate Lego. (There's more bits, but those were the main things.)

Guess whose 7 year old has come down with a sickness bug? That's right - mine. The poor thing is currently asleep on the sofa.

Which means that I had about... an hour in York before having to head back when school called. But that's life. And hey, I get to hang out here for a while. <3
