Ups and Downs
I took Snooch back for her two month follow up. She was uber pitiful and went into full kawaii mode.
Look at those big "I'm scared!" eyes!
She behaved beautifully for the vet staff as usual. The eye is almost 100% better. They want to keep her on the once a day drop for the next six months and we'll look into weaning her off of it.
SCORE!
We've been fighting this since July and it's nice to finally be in the (mostly) clear.
And then I paid the vet bill.
Over the past couple of years I had been slowly building up my savings account. It's been almost embarrassing how long it took me to build up to an amount just over a grand. After all the adventures at the vet's office and a few calculation errors... the total of my savings account is around $50.
This means that any emergencies are going to be met with the following question: "Which bill can I push back?"
I'm current with all my bills. Yeah! I would just like that savings built back up ASAP!
Plus, there's the upcoming move. I really want to be able to hire movers to lug all the heavy stuff.
Looks like I'll be tightening my budget belt. I did this before, I can do it again. I just really hate repeating things. Doesn't feel like success.
