Big tree...small tree...IPOD TREE????
I swear, these things grow on campus here. You wanna know how many I've seen today? FIVE. That's not counting me. (I know Charlotte and I are part of the crowd now, we just didn't know how crowded it was) Three of those were just from the bus to the news stand. That's about a 30 second walk. Everytime I see one I just wanna nod or say "Peace my brother/sister."
I've discovered a new pet peeve: people on the Price is Right who always bid one dollar higher than some other person next to them. I'm not talking once, I'm talking EVERY TIME. Earlier this week there was this poor soul who had the misfortune of bidding before this other guy. During the entire first half hour of the show (it's all I get to watch) This other guy always bidded one dollar higher than the poor soul. Every time! And then this morning, this guy bid one dollar higher than this lady in a wheelchair!! There was an overbid, so everyone had to rebid and he did it again! And won!! But it was a lousy prize...I think he got a pancake maker, some other appliance, and a girly looking four poster bed. He didn't seem pleased. Oh well. What goes around comes around.
I'd better pack up shop and move into poly sci.
