Yes, yes, I'm breaking internet exile... again.
But I'm also being gloriously irresponsible, and I love it. I went dancing today - with a final tomorrow morning, that I still haven't been able to convince myself to seriously study for. I'll be okay - but I would like to do well on it. So a couple of hours... we'll see.
Studied a little before church this morning, then grabbed lunch and Sarah's car and drove into Philly. (Traffic is worse during midday then later night. Urk. But I didn't get lost!) Rittenhouse Square -- outside, live music for part of it (they came about halfway through and the guitarist had to shut down after a cop came over and yelled at him for having an amp - and a hat out for donations - in the park. But they were spectacular - the percussion and bassist were pretty much doing a vamp, but the trumpet and the guitar alternated these glorious riffs :). Funny to dance in front of people, but there was a serious audience of people just watching, listening. Small children kept coming and weaving in and out of the dancers - they were absolutely adorable. (If only the traffic there and back had been just as adorable as the traffic we had to look - and down - for.) Stopped by the gelato place that's always been closed when we were leaving LaB. Unbelievably good - I got kiwi & grapefruit, stole a little of Nick's mango and Greg's turkish coffee (cardamon!) /dark chocolate. Very very good. I don't know when people get home - but if you come down and visit, I will take you to this place.
Got back around 4; spent a couple of hours with my Hebrew class in Beit Midrash (house of learning, auf Hebrew, of course.) Need to stop mixing bad German and Hebrew... Meep. Group study has never really been my thing - not getting anything done - but was great fun to throw beheyma into every conversation possible ("beast") and various verb conjugations.
EDIT: Phooey. Want to take pictures of Pathy & Abby books, so that you can see before I mail it to you (Kathy) or see you again (Abby)... and I can't find Ananda. (Yes, I've named the majority of my electronics. My photo printer does not have one - I've been neglecting it. (Maybe Sophie. We shall see.)
