*waves to all*
Eek - I just realised that I haven't updated in exactly two months ...
September was absolute madness, as it is every year, with music school starting and all the organisation/problem solving/phoning/headdesking an all. There still are a fair amount of things that aren't going smoothly yet, but it's getting there.
It looks like I'll be doing 24,5 hours of teaching at the music school this year (20,5 hours recorder, 1 hour ensemble lesson, 1 hour team-teaching with the primary school teacher and 2 hours teaching preschool groups). Plus I'll be doing the music school's newsletter this year (together with another teacher), and I'm in charge of one of the schools that's part of the music school itself (workwise that's the real bitch at the moment - constantly having to solve other people's problems *grown*). I'll be doing three (or possibly four) English groups this year, which should be fun (I don't mind the break from teaching recorder all week :-P).
Seems Iike I won't get bored :-P ... but it's all good. I basically really like the job, and when everything calms down a bit it won't be so nervewracking.

As for non work stuff - I'm thoroughly enjoying The Sarah Jane Adventures :-), especially the last two episodes. Is it me or is there a distinct Old!skool feel to the show?
chilliconcarne and I rewatched all five seasons of Babylon 5 - damn, I love that show, especially seasons 2 and 3. (I still can't stand Byron though, but at least there are great G'Kar-Londo scenes to make up for it (almost)). I had to cure my post Sleeping In Light depression by ordering a whole bunch of the episodic soundtracks ... *whistles*.
Watched The Prestige the other night - that's one cool movie.
Oh, and I treated myself with a
Wii. Haven't had all that much time to play yet, but it's great fun - especially trying to beat
chilliconcarne at tennis :-P
That's all for now - I'll try not to let the not-updating get out of hand. Plus, there are still Scotland pictures waiting to be posted.
