and..... done; tuba xmas; weather
Done with holiday shopping. Placed a couple of online orders a few minutes ago; that stuff should arrive later this week. Some of it will be late since Chanukah ends on Wednesday, but I'm pretty sure everyone will get over it.

I've posted about a dozen (unedited) shots from Friday's Tuba Xmas over on my Flickr account. It was mostly amusing ... right up until some lady on the mic started singing along. She's a mezzo-soprano. Singing over tubas. And she warbled. Not very well, either.

It's December 9. I walked around outside in shorts and was comfortable. I even bought a flank steak and grilled it. Outside. In shorts.
This is why I don't live up North.
