It wasn't difficult to grasp the ulterior motive behind Phoenix inviting Razer out for drinks, but Razer wasn't a man to turn such an invitation down. He was, however, a man to be excessively late in making good on that invitation--not that one could blame him, Erol was significantly more entertaining than Phoenix on a good day--and so didn't show up at Club O2 until about an hour after the promised time.
He figured that if Phoenix really wanted to talk to him, he would have waited. And this topic seemed like something the pirate captain would most certainly have wanted to speak to him in-person regarding this.
It was a bit strange to have him hiding his apparent military connections even after so long, but to be completely honest Razer was more entertained by the thought that, once upon a time, Erol and Phoenix held equal rank. As he entered the club, he wondered if that was one of the reasons Phoenix hated the pretty little redhead so much.
