tenn doesn't want to give us up it seems
the traffic getting through knox (where i wish i could have stopped to say hi to liakela but it wasn't possible, alas maybe next time!) and getting onto 81 was miserable. we're still making good time, but jeeze people - we're tryinng to break land speed records here! :)
the dog has exposed himself as the very best car dog in the history of travel - he's currently sacked out in the backseat, as close to the air vents as he can get with his ears blowing in the artificial wind. he's quite precious, i must say, but again i'm so biased.
we just pulled into virginia, so only 313 miles to route 7. just passed the bristol motor speedway, a nice reminder why we never try to see THIS race even though it's technically 'in' virgina. it's been a nice drive, as far as long ass drives go, but we're only a little over halfway, so we'll continue to see.
i did have copious amounts of sonic this weekend. *urp*
