Demyx had the stereo on and his door open, spazdancing. Spazdancing involved lots of air-guitar, jumping (on the beds and on the floor), and just generally looking stupid while moving in time to music.
The portal reopened in Demyx's room almost a week after he'd disappeared. Really, excursions to go get new sitar strings shouldn't take that long

A portal opened up in the middle of room 517, allowing the blond Nobody to stumble through and back to Fandom. Taking a quick glance around himself, Demyx mumbled, "Finally!" before flopping face-first onto his bed. He was asleep almost instantly, not waiting to see the portal vanish.
