Oliver placed 3rd in the Tiger Cub division of today’s Pinewood Derby. He showed such great sportsmanship and was thrilled to receive his third place ribbon. I could NOT be more proud of him! We had some issues with our car’s axles that probably affected his outcome, but who cares! He had a blast!

While I’ve been in hardcore planning mode for my shop in the new year, I’ve also worked on a few custom orders that have come in. Custom orders are way more fulfilling for me than just making stuff and putting it up in the shop. I love making exactly what someone wants or making something tailored to someone’s personality. I finished my wholesale order of matryoshka dolls for Babybonkie last night! It was such a huge relief to get it finished. I have been so focused on the order for the past week that once I was finished I didn’t know what to do with myself!

One year ago today I married my hero, best friend and partner in crime. The three years we have been together and the one year we have been married have been the best years of my life. I love you, Joshua! I look forward to many more anniversaries to come!

Our first Independence Day celebration was with Joey & Morgan in Evansville, IN on Saturday. Josh’s Mum watched Oliver and Amelia overnight for us (which we are SO thankful for).
