Signal boost --- friend selling stuff

Dec 16, 2010 16:18

A friend of mine has been setting up his weaving business for the last couple of years, and has finally gone entirely independent with it. He'd like help, but isn't asking for donations; he wants to sell stuff. (It's really gorgeous cloth. Even if handwoven scarves, cloaks & pouches aren't your style or are outside of your budget, go take a look.)

Blossom here, from the Wolf Creek Radical Faerie Sanctuary in rainy Southern Oregon. For those who don't know me, Eldri, Elemirion, Elfwreck, and that crew call me their kin.

I've been in the forest helping this intentional community to get organized for the last year and a half. One of the things that I bring here is my weaving business, with a goal to help myself and others find work with our hands that will bring the satisfaction and the income that we need. This is a skill that this community, in particular, is calling out for.

This Spring I will be doing my first independent series of high-end arts and crafts shows, and here's where I can use a hand. I need some more capital, but I'm not asking for a handout. Instead, I'm offering great deals on beautiful handwoven goods through my Etsy store. To make my low prices and holiday deals even more attractive, I've set up a coupon just for you. Use the code FERI2010 when checking out and receive an additional 15% off. You can even use this code when purchasing Gift Certificates, which almost amounts to free money!
