The Track Team had what was almost certainly our last improv set ever yesterday, and we went out on a high note. After years and years of idle discussions and whining, my parents and I finally got together and got the electrical updated in my house. These are the violet days. Early to mid-April, when half of my yard is overtaken by violets. They aren't really violets, but I call them that. True violets are really purple and have round, fuzzy leaves. These things are more medium blue and have long, skinny leaves. Whatever. On Friday, I turned a number divisible by eleven (you figure it out.) I was kind of bummed, had a headache all day, was tired, and had no plans. I thought about doing something, eating out at a nice place or whatever, but I just wasn't in the mood. It felt less like a celebration and more like an obligation. Had both dentist and medical doctor appointments this week. The dentist was your basic cleaning and so on appointment, the doctor appointment was to get a tetanus booster so I could take a Spanish class, which they wouldn't give me without a full physical.
