I've just watched "J'ai tué ma mère" (I killed my mother), written, directed by Xavier Dolan (he's the main character too).
It's a love/hate story between mother and son.

I just stumble on this video. It's the music band 'Les Colocs', from Québec in the 1990s.

God. They're live here singing 'Le Répondeur' in july 1999. Beautiful song, but so heartbreaking, especially giving the circumstances.
We can hear his voice wavering near the end, and see all the sadness in his eyes.
