It's been a few VERY hot days here in the Northwest but it appears that the fever has broken; this morning, at about 7:30, the rains, lightning and thunder hit with full force. We're finally back home in P-town. It was a great trip in many respects but the joys of sleeping in my bed cannot be enumerated in enough detail. We collapsed at midnight last night and the feeling of being in my own sheets was exquisite.
