Abroad

Damn, I am in the Philippines and I can't help but wondering about that stupid meme. Am I mentioned there? is it the good phrases? bad phrases? why do I have to obsess about it?

Anyway, to the real important stuff -
Spent a lonely day in magical Istanbul, two hedonistic days in my lovely Bangkok and so far two busy days in the rainy Philippines (who's idea was it to hold the seminar in the rainy season?). The food is pretty bad, I hope it will change.

So far so good, I trained for 7 hours today no sweat (was sure I will collapse). We (Israeli team) found out we suck at stick work, so we are looking back on restoring our honour when we get to knife work.
It's really nice that I know a lot of people here, since some of them came to seminars in Israel. The CSSD Arnis regard them/ourselves as a family (around 20 out of 80 in here are CSSD). The head of the system is Jewish, so we do have the togetherness thing going on. It feels like in the Olympics, it's the British, American and us, checking out how good the Eastern European are...funny.

To sum it all up, making friends from abroad (our CSSD ARNIS family), pretending to be a fierce warrior (when actually I'm the worst here, most of the people here are black belts, or trained for years...) and enjoying the training.

I am still at loss for ideas as to where I am going next. Am baffled regarding mental state.
