Quick Update
Just a quick update. Zain's birthday was a success, we had a lot of fun and everyone came and had a good time. We took the bbq over to Knotty Pine Park next to the house and had the party there, same place we had the baby shower at. The weather was nice :) He got lots of cool toys and some really nice clothes, he loved his gifts :) We had a good time alhamdlilah. I can't believe he is a year old, I think I felt like things were going to change once he turned one, like he was going to change. Like suddenly he wouldn't be a baby anymore, my baby. I had a hard time with that. But I love watching him grow and learn and LOVE as more and more of his personality surfaces, and he literally didn't change overnight, he's still my baby. I'm trying to hold onto that for as long as possible. Without overdoing it haha. But no, his turning one didn't suddenly make him a toddler so we're ok :)
