I wanted to post this picture yesterday morning but with all the goofy pre-moving stuff that LJ was going through I couldn't upload it.
Today the sky is gray and small particles of snow are drifting down. The ground is totally covered but the roads are clear.
The visiting nurse will be here soon to draw mom's blood. That is not going so well anymore - she just can't understand what is going on and when the jab comes she freaks out. Dreadful.
I woke with a horrible headache again. Not caffeine withdrawal this time so I don't know what to make of it. Maybe I should just take an aspirin and try and forget it. I overate too much sweet stuff last night - perhaps that is it - I'm going to really try harder to eat right today.
~ Later - the nurse has been here and agreed to not take mom's blood - the phlebotomist has a little finger sticker machine that can figure out blood levels and we are going to have that nurse come later - much easier for mom. And the nurse released mom from VNA medical care - her bottom is all healed now.
To do list today:
fold clothes and put them away (big pile - left over clear from last weekend)
do last night's dishes
make a pair of turquoise earrings for Jill to give to her friend as a xmas gift.
finish enameling 3 pendants - I made them before and didn't like certain details so I ground them off and redid them - they are waiting for a final firing.
take a couple aspirins - yes - why do I continue to suffer?
watch the netflix movie, "Vincent: The Life and Death of Vincent Van Gogh".
