Infrared. We took the dogs for a walk to the creek and lake yesterday afternoon.

My favorite view of the lake.

I'm not that interested in getting outside this morning. I was spoiled by that warm spell we had and now it doesn't appeal to be out in below freezing temps. Yesterday Rainy was shivering by the time we got back from our walk.  It'll get above freezing in the afternoon today so I'm waiting till then.

Kathy and I were talking about water-mixable oil paints yesterday and I remembered that I got myself a set of them once, with a plein air pochade box too. I found it and the paints were still good. It's really cute. Holds 5" by 7" canvases. I had cut off the small paint brushes short enough to fit in the box and then put masking tape around them so they wouldn't fall through the holes that the box came with.

Yesterday - just a dumb little picture to test the paints and see if they were still viable.
