Good morning. A lovely slightly foggy morning, warm enough to walk straight out the door in sandals and shorts.
Behind the chicken coop - the fire circle. I took this picture after I got done with chicken chores this morning.
Dave's eye shot is today. I'm planning to shop at Walmart while he's in the eye clinic. When I was with Kathy we played around with alcohol inks and at that time I thought I had my fill of them. I didn't think I would continue with that medium - watercolor is good enough. But now that I'm home I want to play with them again. Need to get some 99% or 91% alcohol. I have the inks already - got them years ago to do encaustics.

I need to get disciplined. I'm reaching out all over the place right now and I think I need to make a list and have priorities.
Piano practice daily.
Continue with my daily collage art book.
Play with alcohol inks.
Finish the ogee crochet throw.
Make a mosaic tray for Johnny and Alison before the end of September.
Finish the pin loom blanket I started for Sebastian before he goes away to college in the end of August.
Plus I want to do a daily hike or bike or walk of at least an hour.
That's enough! Somehow I want to work all this into my life.

This is mainly my attempt to share the sounds of the babbling brook. Yesterday Sebby and I biked up the East Sandy Creek trail to the secret bench. I was a little worried that we might not have chosen a very good time - 1 pm in the heat of the day but it was nice with lots of shade from trees. And the tunnel was cool too.
