I did something yesterday that wasn't even on my big to-do list. Made this little embroidered piece as a surprise birthday gift for my friend Berdella. She doesn't read my LJ so I think I am safe posting a photo of it here. I won't be able to give it to her for another week though. Quilting has been her hobby for many years. I bought that sewing machine pin for her years ago but never gave it to her. I had planned to make it into a pendant necklace somehow but that never happened.
Other than that? Raining. I have an appointment with my oncologist this afternoon. That should go well. Piano lesson tonight so I need to practice a lot and make up today for all the days I didn't practice while Johnny, Alison and Michael were here.
