6 Who is your favorite celebrity chef? Why do you like them?
Julia Child? That is the only one I can even think of. I don't watch those kinds of shows.
Today would have been our mom's birthday - 108 years old. We did have a big birthday party for her 100th (her last). Kind of sad. Not sure she knew much of what was going on. She looked very tired. Sometimes she had good days, good mornings or good afternoons or evenings and sometimes she had bad days. The day of her party was a bad day. Never really "woke up".
We used to always celebrate Sebby's birthday (February 26th) and mom's together. This weekend we will be having Sebby's since he is home from college for the week. But now his is getting combined with Mike's birthday since Mike's is later in March. It's not like it used to be when the kids were little and you held birthdays on the actual days. Now it's hard just to get everyone together so you have to combine them and hold "the party of the month".
Sebby wants a vegan cheesecake. I always made it before with raw cashews. I found a different recipe made with vegan cream cheese this morning and I'm going to try that one this time. I hope it meets with favor. Mike would like a cherry pie. I hope to find a frozen one I can bake but I already got a can of cherry pie filling to make one from scratch in case I don't.
