a dark and rainy day
I am loving my new phone so much! I know, I've already said it but it keeps surprising me with how useful it is. Having high enough speed internet to watch videos and streaming netflix is so "modern"! I feel like I have joined the rest of humanity. We are having a very dark morning with heavy rain. That's another thing to be grateful for with the new phone - even when it rains we have internet. With the old satellite internet if it was too cloudy we lost our signal.
Anyway - it's a miserable day. A good day to stay in. Dave is making crock pot pheasant soup with 2 of the pheasants that he and Andy got recently. Andy has so far had a hand in (a paw in) bagging 99 pheasants in the 3 years he has hunted with Dave. Some of those 99 birds were for other people that Dave was hunting with at the time. It's handy to have a bird dog along. Andy loves to hunt.
I came across a kind of tea or green tea powder that is supposed to be really good for you called "matcha". I think I will give it a try. I hope it tastes okay as tea - kind of expensive. Though you can use it in smoothies too and it might be really good in those.
