Exciting! We have had hail twice today (just pea sized) and lots of thunder and lightning this afternoon. Very strange for the month of January. The rain is pelting down right now. I opened the door for the chickens to go out late this afternoon, during a sunny spell, but they did not want to go out - maybe they knew that another bout of lightning and hail was coming.
