I have spent the morning researching fabulous colorful crochet mandala patterns. There are so many out there and lots of them are free and shown in great detail on people’s blogs. I printed off something called “Spinning Top” (link:

Today is piano tuner day! She should get here around 12:30. My piano lesson is at 3:30. And then in the evening I hope to go with Dave and visit Jan in the hospital. I got a text that her operation went well. So a busy day.
Last night was garbage night and Dave was resourceful and rigged up a rope and carabiner to tie the garbage can to the telephone pole out front so it wouldn’t blow away. We lost our last garbage can to the wind - it just disappeared completely one night. I suppose someone might have been annoyed by it being in the road and took it home with them? They left the lid behind though.
The wind and rain storm of yesterday turned cold overnight and there is a skiff of snow on the ground this morning.
I made some headway on the etsy earrings yesterday. Cut out the back plates and made bezels for the stones. I am such a putterer - too much multitasking and time wasting. I am very slow at everything anymore.
