A direct quote from Dave last week (I wrote it down when he said it cause it's so true): "Mary is the hardest working, and the laziest person I have ever been married to". Today is our anniversary - 32 years. Though I don't think we will do anything special - no plans yet anyway. Today for me is breakfast with Nancy and then I hope to do something with Johnny and the grandboys later. But my car has become unreliable - that crimps my plans. Sometimes the car won't start, then after a few minutes it will. The other day it stranded me in town (conked out while I was driving and I had to pull over) and I even called a tow truck, then it started up again and I canceled the tow truck and drove home. I haven't gone anywhere with it since then. Dave says he will drive it today and see if it will act up for him. Mysterious.
We gave Andy his de-skunking bath last night. I got in the tub with him and Dave stayed on the outside. It was horrible. Andy was scared and scrambling around whenever he thought he could get away with it and scratched my bare feet with his claws. Next time he needs a bath I think we should take him to the do-it-yourself pet bathing place beside the car wash in Cranberry. I am imagining there the dog will be up at table height so you won't have to bend over and hopefully it will have a hose. At least Andy smells good now. The beginning of the month we had put a new Seresto flea and tick collar on him. They cost between $35 and $40. The collar was saturated with the skunk smell. I'm annoyed that I have to buy a new one, or put it back on him and keep smelling skunk...
