Next up:
1. Pay the estimated income taxes. It looks like I forgot to pay them in September and I may as well do January while I'm at it.

2. Go into town to the post office and get a money order to pay the traffic fine. It is $109. I'm just glad that right now that isn't a hardship. But this is annoying - we have to trust the police, do whatever they say. They have all the authority but they can't even trust us to use a personal check. It has to be a bank check or a money order. I might add a note with the check saying something about the unfriendliness of the officer. As I said before he was rebuffing of what I consider normal friendliness and in effect making me feel small. I'm the one who should have been acting unhappy - not him. I don't know if this is what they consider being professional (being cold and snappish) but no wonder they typically don't have a good relationships with people. Yes, I sympathize that they have to deal with difficult people frequently but they are also sometimes dealing with people who are not difficult - can't they tell the difference? Oh well, maybe I just got my rant out here and won't bother putting the note in with the check. Who knows? Maybe someone died and he didn't have a smile left in him that day. We watched a good documentary last night called The Central Park Five. That is a real eye opener about how far the police and the system can go wrong. That will get you outraged. My gripe is so minor in comparison.

3. Fold clothes. I have 3 baskets that when they are full of dry clothes I bring them up from the basement and then fold everything. It's time.

daily life, taxes, annoying, rant, accidents, documentary
