Well, I tried the cauliflower soup recipe. I made it vegetarian so my sister could enjoy it with me. The cauliflower is a subtle flavor, but it is very nice, good comfort food. I made it with 2% milk instead of whole milk because I didn't have whole milk on hand, and I definitely think next time it would be worth it to get a hold of some whole ( Read more... )

Okay, crap. I have everything that the sugar cookie recipe calls for except baking powder. I feel like a real nerd, because I tossed out an unopened tin of it when we moved, because I'd never used it. *sigh* I have baking soda, but have no idea if this might be an acceptable substitution ... Help?
