Summary: The girls try to beat the Tree by following the mysterious signs everywhere giving them choices on what to do.

Squall sat on one of the roots on Access Point by the elevator, waiting for 00 and Fayth. She'd left them both messages in the journal, hopefully they'd seen them. She knew 00 at least checked the journal a lot, but she wasn't sure about Fayth. She really didn't want to do this alone though...
On the ground next to her Interceptor barked as if sensing her thoughts and she reached out to scratch the dog behind the ears. "That's right... I'm not alone. You're here. Sorry girl."
A smile. But still. That entry in the journal about thinking about the whys and hows behind the tree had settled her resolve for her. If she could find any answer, any answer at all, she was going to do it! And the best place to start was with these signs that were everywhere lately. There had to be a reason. Right?
