Summary: The three stuck in the elevator make it out , only to be confronted by a memory of Kanaye’s childhood and the connection that he has with the woman with green hair from his dream.
The elevator door opened, Kanaye looked over to the other two. Was this the correct stop? He somehow doubted it. He just wanted to get as far away as possible from the noise of the thoughts, they were making his head hurt so badly. He could hear the thoughts of Star and Night as the doors opened, they were just as confused as he was. Regardless, Kanaye was determined to get out of the elevator as quickly as possible.
He stepped out of the elevator only to find that he was standing in the streets (much like China), people were walking past him. It was noisy, Kanaye frowned. He was about to say something to Star and Night when he heard a young child screaming. He turned to see what the commotion was about, as he did his eyes widened. What was this?!
A small boy with white hair is seen clutching his head and screaming at the top of his lungs in complete agony and anxiety “SHUT UP!!” He clutches his head tighter, crying, tears running down his dirty voice. He is not alone, however. Holding onto his shoulders is a woman with green hair, dressed in a blue outfit. She speaks softly to him “Don’t listen to them…just focus on the sound of my voice”
The boy opens his eyes, revealing the same bird like symbols in them that Kanaye has. He calms down and listens to the green haired woman. He still sobs but he calms. “That’s right” the woman gently says, in a voice that knows he’ll be calmer now.
The scene changes to the boy and the woman sitting in a serene environment, where there is water. The boy is painting a picture, the woman sits opposite to him watching. “If I’m the only one whose thoughts you can’t read, if you can only be calm when we’re alone together, I’ll stay with you forever…” she says. The boy turns the painting around, revealing that he has painted her. He’s draw her the way he sees her, looking happy. She looks at it, not smiling but she’s happy, from the mood of the scene you can tell she’s contented.
“Yes, I’m here, so don’t worry” She says. The scene changes again, the two are ready to sleep in a shanty hut with a hole in the roof of it. He’s cuddled up to her, very happy. His head not hurting anymore and he looks like he is in peace with her.
[OOC: Night-mun, let me know if I've done this wrong...I've been flapping about this since I wrote it up ^^;;]
