This is the poem I wrote for Aaron while on the same flight I wrote Eden's on. I was in a writing mood!
No hope of finding
One true love
Unconditional and everlasting
Losing hope and faith
Until you came along.
For years, you have stood beside me.
Through hard times and the good
Always offering me a shoulder to cry on
Even when it seemed no one else would.
You were the reason I still trusted
The one who led me to believe
Somewhere out there lies the perfect man
Waiting just for me.
Little did I realize that the
Perfect man for me had been
standing beside me through it all
Never a faltering step
Nor an unkind word
Always supporting me
Without you I would have lost my confidence
You helped me to find myself
On the worst of days
I still turn to you
To feel your loving arms around me.
My love for you grows each day.
Your beauty overwhelms me
I'm forever grateful for what you have done
Your kind words a blessing
In being my friend
You have become the one my heart loves.
