Poem to Eden

This is a poem I wrote for Eden on the plane ride from Scotland to England. She's been on my mind a lot today!

Heavensent

The love of my life
Light of my world
You brought joy into my life
On the most trying of paths
You were a breath of fresh air to my soul

Every day I awake
The beauty of your face in my mind
The smile of your rosebud lips warms my heart
Never a day goes by that my love for you dwindles
My pride of you is unending.

Though the road was hard and winding
We made it to the other side
The journey that we made
Better because of you.

You are my little piece of heaven
God sent to me from above
The perfect little blessing
To a soul that needed love
