Juudai could see his alter clearly the moment he turned the corner into the straight hallway, and the moment he did so, something was set ablaze inside him. Not so much that it was pure, undeniable anger, but enough to cause him to pass by Paj-Tria, his original destination, and continue all the way to the end of the hall. Yet he was still thinking rationally, and so stayed a respectable distance from his unpredictable other self.

"Oi," he prodded, quietly so as not to disturb any of the neighbors, "I've got a few questions for you." His tone seemed calm, but there was a hard-to-miss sense of apprehension to it, making it clear what he was referring to and what his basic opinion was on the matter all at once. "Why the hell would you do that?" he finally asked in a forceful way. "What happened to hating everything about him and wanting to kill him for just existing? Or are you just so sick that you'd want to rape him before killing him or something?"

Judai's frown deepened, as he finally turned around, in order to regard his alter, unkempt hair falling over his eyes and nearly obscuring them from view. This was possibly the last subject that he wished to discuss at the moment -- given his nearly blind determination to simply ignore the memory of what had taken place only a few days earlier, finding it much easier to just pretend that it hadn't happened, no matter how difficult such a thing might have been, considering the obvious effects of its consequences ( ... )
