Characters: AU!Yuki Judai
misguidedherald AU!Johan Andersen
eightgemmaster Where: the library, inside the abandoned school
When: during the first day of the Potion Plot
Summary: He knows his own natural reactions and perceptions far too well, in order not to realize that something is decidedly wrong, at the moment. And after making the decision to leave Paj-Okto (lest he should do something that he might regret later, in the heat of the moment) Judai finds some amount of refuge in the loneliness of the abandoned school, away from all others. But alas, it's not meant to last, since another has the habit of almost always being at the wrong place and at definitely the wrong time...
Warnings: The usual and the unusual, when these two are concerned: snark, sarcasm, violence (though less than usual), along with potion-induced love/lust and some decidedly erotic situations that arise from this. Will not go over the FTB-necessary limit, though.
There had been a great deal of moments, during the recent month, in which Judai had felt no less than utterly lost and confused either by things that he should have remembered but didn't, or by the shifting reality of a place whose intricacies he was only half-aware of, given his strict policy of not becoming involved -- more than such a thing was strictly necessary -- in the general affairs of the compound, given his pronounced aversion to being effectively held in a cage, no matter how much it would offer the illusion of a more or less desultory freedom.
The present moment was certainly no exception and his state of both confusion and guarded weariness had been exacerbated to even higher levels than usual, since the apparent deficiency didn't lie with the rest of his surrounding environment, as usual, but within himself -- and that greatly unsettled Judai. Mentally cursing himself for his apparent lack of control -- a long litany of rather nasty, crass expletives -- the boy leaned against the musty wall, staring with dull eyes at the bookshelves which surrounded him on almost all sides. As much as he might have scoffed at the cold, damp atmosphere of the library, there was little room for any complaint, since this was to be his sanctuary for an undetermined period of time, by his own self-imposed decision. There was no other possible course of action, when he had almost disregarded Yubel's personal wishes in such a thoroughly disgusting manner.
Grimacing at picking up the tirade of silent insults once more, Judai settled himself in a dusty seat, within a more secluded corner, before closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath, in an attempt to somehow calm the fire which had begun to flow so freely and unmanageably through his veins -- seemingly without any noticeable cause -- despite his attempts to somehow rationalize this sudden surge of desires and wants for things that he had learned to either ignore or suppress with fierce intensity, until they became merely pale shadows of what they had once been.
Hopefully, whatever unexplainable fit of amorous interest had come over him lately would pass away soon, if he made certain to spend his time in seclusion, away from other individuals and the potential for acting upon such base desires that some of them could bring, despite his furious attempts to bring himself to heel.
