Summary: Faye drinks a love potion. Faye goes for a walk. Faye runs into [INSERT YOUR CHARACTER HERE] and develops a sudden, inexplicable crush.
Warnings: Dear gods, I wouldn't even know. Depends on who shows up.
Faye was lying on the couch paging through some of the entries she'd missed while bedridden. She'd gotten caught up as far as December 29 when she tossed her PDA aside with a sigh and rolled to her feet, stalking over to the fridge. She opened it and bit her lip, trying to decide what she wanted; her eyes lit upon a small container of what looked like iced tea.
Perfect, she thought, snatching up the container and downing the liquid in a few quick gulps, bumping the fridge door closed with her hip. Faye wiped her lips, carelessly dropping the empty container in the sink. She paused then, a small frown flickering across her face. She felt... funny. She tried to analyze the feeling, frowning more... and Spike's image came to mind suddenly, unbidden.
Faye gasped as a flood of emotions overcame her- loneliness at his absence, anguish at his death. "Spike," she whispered, her eyes tearing up. Her knees trembled, and she leaned heavily against the kitchen counter. God, she missed him so much! More than anyone else she'd ever met, she missed him... she loved him. I do... I do I do I do... I love him, she thought, embracing the emotion as she so rarely did. She didn't like to think about her feelings for Spike, didn't like to admit them to anyone, not even herself... but the truth of her feelings overwhelmed her.
"Shit," she whispered, swiping at her eyes. She needed to get out of here. She needed to get some air. She grabbed her gray coat, stuffing a few items into her pockets and all but fleeing the apartment, heading out into the cold.
