When: Evening after OU!L disappears from Econtra
Summary: Near didn't realize just how important L's presence in Econtra was to him.

Near sat in the corner of his room after hearing what happened.
L was gone. He had lost L once and felt nothing. But that was because he was nothing but an initial to him back then. Nothing but an abstract idea. An objective...no, the Objective. But here in Econtra...he was human. He was a person. He had been hurt. He had been upset. He had gotten angry. He sought revenge...But not only that, he sought revenge when he, one of the Children had been threatened. It was...something he had not experienced before really, having someone fight for your sake.
Maybe that was the reason why his eyes were red as he worked on his Rubik's cube, taking much longer than usual to solve it.
