...and i haven't fallen off the face of the planet, either. well, not entirely. Parks is off the beaten track, but i think it's still on the planet. heehee.
anyway. my flights to AZ went well. we were only delayed a few minutes leaving Montreal, so i had plenty of time in Detroit to switch planes and get lunch. ther was a little mix up with Dad about which terminal i was landing at in Phoenix, but he has a cell phone now, so that turned out okay. poor Mom, though, had her flight cancelled (she was supposed to come in later that same day), so only Dad and i got to stay in the hotel, have a nice dinner, go Christmas shopping, etc. we picked up Mom the next morning then hoofed it back up the hill in time for Mom and Dad to make their appointments at the local blood drive. i gave blood for the first time. the phlebotomist agreed that my veins were practically miniscule (not helped by the fact that it was freezing in the school gym), but she got the vein in one poke and i gave my allotment in a nice average nine minutes.
for the last week, i've mostly been bumming around with the 'rents. Mom and i have gone to the gym a couple of times, and she included me in her gift massage from my sister. we also all went out for a movie and pizza yesterday, but mostly we've been hanging at home reading or occasionally watching TV. Mom and i played Boggle last night, but i beat her severely enough that i don't know if we'll play again. i've managed to develop a cold...or catch it from Dad, as the case may be...so i'm feeling good and lazy.
tonight we're going to go for an early dinner at Sakura (teppanyaki...maybe a little sushi), and then go to a candlelight Christmas Eve service at some church or another. after that we'll come home and open presents! whee! guess i should finish wrapping mine. hehe.
anyway, not spending much time on the internet, so it may be a while for me to read and reply to your guys' entries and comments.
Happy (Belated) Birthday,
