This is fact not fiction/for the first time in years

Katharina, a friend and band mate of mine, just phoned me. At first, I thought she'd perhaps phoned me by accident, as my name starts with an A and people's phones might unlock and phone me. But she hadn't.
She asked me if I was doing anything on Saturday evening. I told her that I didn't think so. She explained that there's going to be a dinner for "Youths against EU", and that they need someone to play a few songs during the dinner, meaning I'll be there at around nine in the evening. The girl who played last year couldn't make it on Saturday, so Katharina phoned me. (I don't know if she phoned me first, though. Not that it really matters. What matters is that she actually thought of me as an option...) There will be around 100-150 people there. Eeks.
It's in Fetsund, which means I have to take bus+train. I'll be picked up at the train station, and I'll also get free food.
I was rather surprised and instantly felt my stomach twist and turn in excitement. I said I'd have to think about it, and that I'll phone her back later in the evening.
The more I think about it, the more I want to do it, though. I still haven't checked if I have any appointments, but I doubt that I do. I should really do it, as I need to practice standing on stag and feel comfortable playing songs. I'll attend UKM this year (this cultural thing for people under 20 where you can contribute with music, art and theatre stuff), and it'll be a nice rehearsal, or something. Wah. It's still very scary to think about. Eeh.

We did "Ibsens Spa" in the P.E. hall at Ullersmo Prison today. We did good. We didn't have much to hide behind, except from the "walls" for the play, so there was a lot of ...open-ness at times. We were always afraid people would see us when changing, hee.
The audience weren't as rude as the last time we played there (which was December one and a half year ago). When we were done, we sat down and let them ask questions about the play, and explained how we'd worked with it and so on. We got loads of questions from this one cool guy. The others were pretty quite, except from a few.
It was a cool experience. It's interesting to play for different kinds of audiences.

I'm looking forward to working out tonight. In case you didn't know, I go to this aerobic/strength workout thingie. It's fun, and the woman leading us has such great taste in music. We get to do aerobic excercises to Queen instead of icky trance! Good music a great motivation for me.

I've by the way discovered Death Cab For Cutie. They're good. They'll have a concert at Rockefeller the 5th of February, and I'm considering going. Do any of you like them? If so, do you have the song "A lack of color"? See, I downloaded it, but when playing it, it just stops at a certain point. It's fine starting to play it after the point, but it's very annoying. It'd be lovely if any of you have it and could upload it, or something.
