I've managed to crack 23k so far today which is around 800 or so words. I haven't been keeping track of my daily totals as much this week but I do know I'm making a killing for Kaz Mahoney's #SIS50k. Oh goody.

So my brain, which has been contrary lately in refusing to help with steampunk plotty bits, just informed me it had a great new idea for my novel's direction. Only caveat? It means rewriting most of the beginning.

Swear to my gramma's grave, shoot me now.

So about half an hour ago an idea hit me. Right then we went to break so I dashed to my compy and typed out a blurb for the idea, how I wanted the ending to come out, and a bunch of little details. I even came up with a title that's PERFECT ( Read more... )
