So, I stole this idea from lucy_locket, because it's a fabulous idea, and really, I just like looking at the pretty. I encourage all my Torchwood loving friends to do this as well, because I want to see your favourite moments and all the pretty (as Torchwood is full of it).

1x06 "Countrycide" - Ianto and Tosh in the basement
I couldn't find a decent cap that included both Ianto and Tosh in this scene, but I really love their interaction here. When Ianto asks Tosh, "And who protects us?", my heart shatters. Obviously at the time it was Ianto reminding her all that he's been through and lost because of Torchwood, and that no one protects them. But knowing what happens to Tosh at the end of series 2, it hurts twice as much. (However, the fact that they can immediately turn around and joke about food.. ♥)

2x13 "Exit Wounds" - Gwen and Rhys in the police station
This is probably my favourite Gwen and Rhys moment ever. Rhys telling Gwen that he believes in her, that she's brave and strong and can handle this, at a time when she really needs to hear that... God, I love them.

1x13 "End of Days" - Jack comes back to life
I'm not sure why I love this moment so much.. I think it's the relief you feel. You know he's going to come back because he's immortal, but because it's been so long, you actually worry a little. Also, the fact that he's smiling when he comes back to life... you know something has changed in him. He's not wishing for (permanent) death anymore, he's happy to be alive.

2x01 "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" - Captain John "threatens" Ianto
This scene makes me a little incoherent. I could attempt to make it sound like this scene is important, something about how it's interesting that John actually harms the rest of the team but only flirts with Ianto, but really? I just love this scene for the hot. James and Gareth are so freakin' brilliant here, you could cut the tension and chemistry with a knife.

1x12 "Captain Jack Harkness" - Jack and Jack kiss
This scene breaks my heart into tiny little pieces. I suppose most of the Jack/Jack interactions do, but especially the scene where they dance and kiss, because it's our Jack getting to say everything he wants to without saying anything at all, and the real Jack getting to actually be himself, if even for just that moment, on the night before he dies. It's so desperately tragic.

2x05 "Adam" - boardroom scene
I admit I love this for the little Jack/Ianto scene, for Ianto's realization and admission that Jack is something that defines him, and Jack's loving and slightly protective kiss on his forehead. But it's also so much more than that. Jack reassuring the team of who they are. It's not arrogance or egotism on Jack's part, it's a genuine love for his team that he doesn't have for Adam despite the memories. And Toshiko! God, I feel so awful for her here. Not because she's losing Adam, because honestly what Adam did to Tosh disgusts me on the most deepest level. I think that's half the reason why I feel so terrible for her, because she's been completely violated, and she doesn't even realize it. The poor girl. And Jack and Owen... that hurts so much when you know what's coming. And then to top it all off, none of them remember what was said in this scene. This show, it breaks me.

1x12 "Captain Jack Harkness" - Ianto shoots Owen
Oh, my little bad ass, Doing What's Right (despite what he wants) Ianto Jones. This whole scene, actually. Ianto vs Owen. In a very juvenile's response, I'm all "BOYFIGHT!" and it's amazing. The insults the two throw at each other win so hard, haha. The memorable one is of course Owen saying, "In your dreams, Ianto. Your sad, wet dreams where you're his part time shag, maybe," but what's a bit more awesome is Owen's dig at Ianto's survivor's guilt. He says, "So if I die trying to beat it, it will have been in the line of duty." And then Ianto's like "well fuck this" and shoots him. It's also deeper than that, but if I allowed myself to go on about this scene I might never stop, LOL.

2x13 "Exit Wounds" - Toshiko and Owen say goodbye
I am such a masochist for loving this scene, because it makes me sob harder than I have at anything in a very long time. You knew Owen was probably going to die because he was already dead, and it was almost cruel to keep him in that limbo. But Tosh... sigh. But I do think it's a touching, almost fitting end for them. The die together but apart, like they've spent the past four or so years. Owen's acceptance of his death hurts more than I thought it would, him being my least favourite character. If you listen, during that moment Owen's theme is playing in the background again, but this particular arrangement sounds so... final. And it breaks my heart. Also, the fact that the whole time Owen doesn't even know Tosh is dying... I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it.

2x03 "To the Last Man" - Jack and Ianto talk/kiss
Selfishly, I love this scene because their kiss is pretty. More aesthetically pleasing than any other kiss on the show, even between them. The Jack/Jack kiss is more of an emotional payoff (not that this one's not), and the Jack/John kiss is hot and dirty, but not particularly pretty. Honestly, John and Gareth just know how to kiss on camera, haha. But I'm pretty sure this is the ultimate scene for any Jack/Ianto shipper. The fact that Jack finally opens himself up to Ianto a little, the fact that Jack actually says what he's feeling, and yet at the same time doesn't say those three words exactly because they don't even need to be said. And then the kiss itself is.. just this outpouring of what they can't find words for. Jack's love for Ianto, Ianto's forgiveness for everything, and even his acceptance of who Jack is.

2x12 "Fragments" - Ianto's flashback
The closer I got to number one, the more shippy they got, huh? But I can't help it. And especially this scene, where we get to see Jack and Ianto working together for the first time (in their timeline). Despite Lisa and all Ianto's plans and reasonings, there's instantly just.. something between him and Jack, and I do think it goes beyond lust. And of course that moment right there, when their laughter stops and they just breathe before Ianto gets up... That could quite possibly be the hottest thing that's ever been on this show. I'd also be a terrible Gareth fan if I didn't mention Ianto's slight breakdown as he walks away from Jack... Just everything crashing in on Ianto at once. Gareth was fucking brilliant right there, really.
